Samuel Ewing Hill

          SAMUEL EWING HILL was born January 30, 1844, Morgantown, Ky., a son of Daniel S. and Malinda (Ewing) Hill, of Butler County, Ky.  After service in the Civil War he became an attorney and had his office in Hartford.  He married Naomi Baird (1850-1912) in 1869 and they had three children: Effie, Mary Lawrence, and Elizabeth.  Mr. Hill died 30 May 1904.
