Susan was born 9 July 1831 in Ohio County, Kentucky, the daughter of Thomas Taylor and Sussanah James. She was one of eleven children. She married Noble Warren Randall, from Lake County, Ohio, 17 Nov 1848, in Morgan, Illinois. They moved to Oregon in 1852. She died 11 Dec 1905 and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Oregon City, Clackamas County, Oregon.
