Notes:
Directions to the Equality Methodist Church Cemetery:  Take 69S going W. out of Centertown, OCK.  Go about 4 ½-5 miles (pass Equality/Kronos), turn right off Hwy 69S onto Equality Church Rd.  The newer cemetery is about .3 mile on the left.  The church building was at the foot of the hill and facing the new Hwy 69S.  The church building  fell down in the summer of 2005.

Facing the church, the old Equality Methodist Church Cemetery was along the right side of the church building and to the front.  It was between the old road that came by the church and the fence.  The road ran along the right side of the church, turned right just past the back of the church and went up to the newer church cemetery and on out the ridge to the Matanzas community.  Currently it is grown up and only 2 stones are visible.

Marriage date listed may be the marriage bond date.
Name underlined indicates the name they used.
* Person not listed on tombstone
**No tombstone.  Burial listed on KVS death certificate, Nina (Bullock) Overhuls Daybook, Ohio County newspapers, earlier Equality Cemetery lists or in Juanita O. Brown’s collected information on families.
*** Most likely buried in the old cemetery by the Equality Methodist Church, established 1857.  Cemetery up on the hill was established 1889.  The deed (Deed Bk P- p.490) quoted by BAC indicates that there was already  an Equality Meeting House on the property formally deeded on 10 April 1857 by Joshua and Sallie Igleheart to the trustees.  When the first church was built is unknown.  The old cemetery had probably been used for a while before 1857.
>>Burial reported to be somewhere adjacent to the Equality Cemetery.  Unsure as to whether it was the old or newer cemetery.
